This is a textured oil painting, on 1 1/2 inch deep gallery wrap canvas. I wanted to create a pattern similar to marble, with slight highlights within. The texture itself is not as deep as some of my other textured paintings, because I felt that if this were a slab of marble, the relief wouldn't be very deep!
