I was able to finish a new daily painting today. I've been working on several large commissions lately, and I think that I'm catching up! This painting is an abstract work on a gallery wrap canvas.

This is my latest daily painting: an oil painting of a Husky against a snowy background. This is another entry in my dog series, in a small format and is currently not for sale.

I'll be painting a french bulldog next; hopefully I'll have it done next week, so check back!

This is my latest daily painting, a large abstract commissioned painting in neutral hues.

I love creating these large scale paintings, because it allows me to move around the painting. When I paint small, as you can imagine, you have to be somewhat still, as you execute the brushstrokes, or you'll end up re-working a lot of it!

This is a new daily painting: an oil painting of an Afghan Hound, for a private collection. I've named this pooch 'Champagne', for the coloring of her hair.

I know that you're used to seeing large abstract paintings, but it's refreshing for me to work on a small level sometimes. (It also enables me to practice my drawing skills from time to time! )
