Eagle progress

This is a shot of the eagle after a special glaze of umber and blues were painted on, and then rubbed off. It gives the statue the look of an actual bronze statue!

I will still tone this down a little later, since, I want the statue to be more realistic than bronze. In real life, the bald eagle's feathers are brown to blue/black, so I'll darken them a bit. I'll also paint the feet and beak yellow, and of course the white tail feathers, etc.
