'WINDSWEPT' - 72 X 36 inches - My latest painting is a dramatic sunset with tree silhouette. This is one of my latest techniques, which involve 'distressing' the scene with a sort of 'crackle'. I enjoy this, and I'm going to see where I can go with it. I already created the previous 'Liberty' piece with this background.
Some of my previous techniques are what I call 'Fossil' texture, where I create fossil-like patterns with pure oil paint. Another is the 7 piece panoramic sunsets, which offer a distinct, contemporary look to a scene.
