'Chocolate Verdigris' - 72x24 inches - Acrylic on canvas

This is a (2) piece abstract painting with neutral colors, and a mint/verdigris underpainting. I've incorporated the 'Golden Section', or phi (1.6180339) into the design of this painting.

There is some contention as to where the Golden Ratio first manifested itself in architecture. Some historians claim that it appeared as early as the pyramids at Giza. Egyptians used the Golden Ratio in creating structures that had a base to height ratio of 1.6, which approximates Phi. Read more here.
