This is a commissioned abstract painting in mixed media. One of my favorite styles, it makes me think of the New York City subway, for some reason. Maybe it's the 'rivets' that you see on the steel columns that are everywhere in the subway system?
At any rate, I use layers of paint to create a 'distressed' look! Can you see the copper patina showing through?
