This is a commissioned abstract painting on 7 canvases. I especially love painting these sunsets.

I think that many people believe that this type of sunset is fake, or unreal. In fact, I've seen many sunsets with these colors! OK, maybe the crescent moon appears slightly larger than would appear in real life, but I painted it this way for added effect.

Can anyone tell me what else is unusual about the crescent moon in this painting?

This is a daily painting in textured oil. It is an abstract painting, by commission, in crimson hues with yellow. I think that it's quite apropos for the season, don't you think?

This is a daily painting finished yesterday. It's a commissioned oil painting in textured oils. (Thank you, Yvette, for your order!!) As I've already mentioned to Yvette, it will take 3-5 weeks for this rich, abstract oil painting to dry enough before I can ship it. But it is well worth the wait!

The crimson used here dries to a semi-gloss sheen, and because of the amount of oil, the painting's color will seem very deep and rich, unlike your standard 'flat' paintings!

Additionally, the surface of these textured oil paintings dry to a leathery-like surface, giving the painting extra durability that standard paintings simply do not have.

This is a daily painting that I finished yesterday. It's a colorful abstract painting on 3 canvases, and is part of my 'Surreal' series. This series incorporates a sort of ethereal feeling- cloud-like, in a way.

I think that this painting allows the viewer to feel uplifted and alive, since the color is so intense- anyway, I'm hoping that it will do that for you- lol!

The title speaks of a turning point- when one reaches an epiphany, and decides that something is churning, and things are headed in the right direction.

This is a commissioned oil painting... It's an abstract in textured oils on 2 gallery wrap canvases. I wanted to create a melody of movement in this painting, with crimson as the area of interest.

The texturing of the oil paint is pure- there are no modeling pastes used to 'build up' any part of these textured paintings. (Sometimes that is done with acrylics, since many acrylic paints do not have the body required to do this.)

The downside to using pure oil paint, is that it can take up to 5 or 6 weeks to dry enough before handling! (That's why I call these textured oil paintings the 'caviar' of oil paintings).
